My name is Som, and I am a driven and passionate student currently in Year 10 at Adelaide Botanic High School, with a strong focus on technology, computer science, and the arts.
I have approximately 18 months of work experience at Northshore Coaching College, where I worked as a paper and student marker. This role has strengthened my attention to detail, communication, and ability to work in an academic environment — skills I carry into everything I do.
I attend weekly Computer Science classes, through which I have developed a solid proficiency in JavaScript, with a specialisation in Python, HTML, and CSS. Outside of class, I am independently studying the C language family as a personal project, driven by a goal to move into mobile app development. I enjoy building things from scratch and am always looking for the next problem to solve.
Beyond coding, I am a musician — I play both classical guitar and bass guitar, which has taught me discipline, patience, and creativity. I believe that music and programming share more than people think; both require precision, practice, and a genuine passion for the craft.
I have been training in martial arts since the age of 7, building a strong foundation in self-defence and mental resilience. I currently practice Judo, where I hold an orange belt and am actively working my way up the ranks. Martial arts has shaped the way I approach challenges — with focus, composure, and persistence. 🥋
I am someone who takes pride in continuous growth. Whether it is in the gym, on the mat, behind a screen, or in the classroom — I show up, I put in the work, and I am always looking ahead.
